The founders of PoleVault have a good stint of industry experience both in the consulting as well as the product development domain.

Vinay Mehta is an experienced IT and Engineering hand. Having worked on product development in C/C++/Java, He has both hard core project and product development experience of 18 years. He has devoted more than four years on product development including the Open source libraries. He has brought more than three Enterprise Content Management products to the market. He has experience of handling various cultures across the world which helps him understand people from a particular geography. In addition, he has held the position of head of IT services that enables him to see the customer organization in a holistic perspective and their bottlenecks, both technology and process bottlenecks, and hence offer better solutions.

After graduating from Punjab Engineering College in 1988, Vinay did his masters dissertation in Artificial Intelligence and developed an Expert System shell with another colleague of his. Thereafter he started developing a Centre of Excellence along with one his professors in the College itself, to handle higher computational research and industry projects. Vinay dedicated eleven years to develop the Centre from a scratch and took it to heights. Thereafter Vinay had a four plus years stint at a publishing software company and was its Director R&D for Content Management Product line. Vinay was also instrumental in setting up a Common Components Group for various products within the Company and implemented many open-source libraries to save thousands of dollars for the Company.

Vinay has developed, in his previous research, a mathematical algorithm to generate the geometry of Geodesic Dome of any diameter and height. Vinay has been an Honors student throughout his educational career. He has co-authored three papers related to Expert Systems in International Journals and Conferences. Of late, he has architected PoleVault's product DIA and its Business Engine that is extendable and scalable to include Business Objects from multiple domains and verticals.

Shalini Mehta is a personal management consultant and has wide experience with IT training institutions from industry perspective. She is a part-time Masters Diploma holder in Business Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies. She has been in a leadership position as a Centre Manager of various IT training institutes. She is very experienced in managing employee’s personal and professional growth. She has been a balanced multi-faceted personality throughout her life: a good badminton player with a versatile approach to learning from different experiences and streams of education. She holds lecture sessions for people in how they can realize their full potential.

Both Shalini and Vinay run a charitable organization called God's Child Foundation to help people through personal counseling and lecture sessions out of passion, for people to become better in their life. They also pen a booklet by the name of “NUPUR” (New Understanding of Pure Universal Revelations) twice a year containing articles of their daily experiences to spread the confidence of God in life.
