Data Integration Application - DIA™
PoleVault has felt that the need of integrating information across an Enterprise is immense. But information integration requirement varies a lot across verticals. However, the business objects required by different business functions are standard and hence the requirement, though different, yet conforms to standards. To meet this dire need, PoleVault has developed Data Integration Application, DIA™ in short, to give a platform to exchange and integrate information across business functions, across applications, across processes, across locations, and across different users. DIA is a light-weight integration product that facilitates data exchange among applications at desired frequency to enable the Enterprise to function as one enterprise, with no extra burden of changing the way customers work. What is DIA™?
DIA™ has a generic business engine at the core, that understands business objects across verticals and domains, be it accounting or inventory or sales/purchase. The Engine Framework is extendable to include more business objects in its framework as and when the demand arises. To take care of varied business functions, and hence different applications across the organization(s), the Engine extends spokes that are application specific. The Spoke interfaces are standardized and spokes can be easily developed by developers who have application domain knowledge. Apart from spokes, DIA™ has a scheduler service that keeps track of the exchange of data process at scheduled intervals and helps remind the user about exchange process at the day end by default.

Features
DIA™ Ver 1.1 is based on Microsoft Windows and .Net platform. DIA™ also seamlessly talks to Microsoft SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005 to leverage the inherent ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and Business Intelligence aspects of SQL Server. DIA consists of

  • a Business Engine,
  • Spokes for applications (to and from which data can be imported and/or exported),
  • A relational database that stores the Business Objects and connects to a Data Warehouse for Business Intelligence Tasks
  • Communication through 128 bit encrypted file to make information exchange secure and safe, and
  • An internal scheduler that helps user to execute various exchange / integration tasks at scheduled time.

In DIA™, user can sets his desired frequency for Data Exchange [default is daily]. DIA™ can use various file transfer modes. Migration to newer versions of applications is easy. Data exchange is not done by manipulating databases at the back-end, and by not compromising with the security or legal framework of existing applications. Current spokes of DIA include Tally, Busy (accounting applications), Shoper (Retail Application) and MARG(Pharma Production Application).

  1. Automated transfer of data from one business function to another, even though the functions are located at different places and use different applications,
  2. Human errors are removed in this exchange leading to correct assessment of taxation and other needs, thus saving person-hours usually wasted on reconciliation and finding errors in case of manual entries.

  6. Every activity in DIA™ is logged. To revert back some actions, or to overwrite a voucher that was transferred erroneously, you can transfer again as well.

TrackingHub™
PoleVault has developed this product to track the sales orders and subsequent approvals from the State Drug Controller for a Pharma Manufacturing Unit. The complexity of the whole process of multiple customers outsourcing the manufacture of multiple drugs combined with multiple product types like Tablets, Capsules, Injectibles, Ointments along with customized packings makes it humanly impossible to track all the information as per age, customer, approval and other criteria. TrackingHub not only facilitates this but also lets add new products, orders, customers, and the state agency's approval for manufacturing. It also generates draft and final applications for approval and captures the final approvals and rejections (including multiple rejections, if any) as well, so that customers can focus on their core process of production and take smart decisions for production business than waste valuable time in finding out the details day in, day out.

TrackingHub™ is a successor to Anumati™, the approval application finder that has been well appreciated by the customers.

VehicleSys™
VehicleSys(tm) has been developed seeing the need of organizations and companies owning or working with a fleet of vehicles to serve their business functions. VehicleSys analyzes multiple fleet's business profitablity and shows the performance of a group of vehicles or individual vehicle to help arrive at quick business decisions. It also includes Vehicle Tracking System, a GPS based tracking system to track and help manage the vehicle through a Map based application. Apart from the real-time tracking using GPRS communication, the application manages various routes and trips, brings out the key patterns of vehicle usage, maintenance, mapped behaviour patterns and provides help to take key decision to enhance the performance of the fleet. Escalations in terms of SMS alerts for any predefined events or conditions is available. Moreover, this application has well-defined interfaces to get integrated into any ERP or business application of the enterprise to maintain consistency of data across the organization. The application is easily customizable for School Bus fleets, Transport Bus fleets, Radio Taxi services, Ambulance services, City auto/taxi services and individual vehicles.

All the customer needs is a computer with an internet connection to download the application and start using it anywhere anytime! The performance of the application is many times faster than normal web-based applications available with competition.
